These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Silent Habits mobile application (“the app”, “Silent Habits”) provided by Manik Agnish (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Silent Habits for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or Google Play). You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works of the app except as permitted by law.
Silent Habits does not require you to create an account. Your habits and logs are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for your device and for keeping your own backups (for example, by using the in-app export feature). We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, deletion of the app, or operating-system actions.
Silent Habits is free to use with a limit on the number of habits you can track. You may unlock unlimited habits through a one-time “Pro” in-app purchase. This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription.
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. Pricing is shown in the app before you purchase and may change over time. Purchases are tied to your app store account and can be restored on your devices through the app store.
Because purchases are handled by Apple or Google, all refunds are subject to the policies of the relevant app store. Refund requests must be made through Apple or Google, not through us. We do not separately process payments and cannot directly issue refunds.
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with or disrupt the app, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, or to circumvent any usage limits or purchase requirements.
Habits, notes, and other content you create remain yours. Because this content is stored on your device, you are solely responsible for it. We do not access, monitor, or store your habit content on our servers.
The app relies on third-party services including the Apple App Store and Google Play, RevenueCat (purchase management), PostHog (anonymous analytics), and Expo (app delivery and updates). Your use of the app is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the app at any time, including changing or removing the free tier limits or Pro offering. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the app but are not obligated to provide ongoing support or updates.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved. Silent Habits is a habit-tracking tool and is not intended to provide medical, psychological, or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it, if any.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
